A vaudeville spectacular starring the morally just but dastardly counterfeiters, with amazing feats of strength performed by Benjamin Franklin himself! Magic, song and dance numbers and madcap buffoonery! Birth and death. Life and liberty. All in the pursuit of the American Dream.

Counterfeiters was developed, in part, with the support of the Orchard Project, a program of The Exchange.

Once introduced, these characters reappear—in scenes with touches of magic and music—from every angle: Directors Krissy Vanderwarker and Jenn BeVard place the audience at cabaret-style tables, with playing spaces all around. With an agreeable cast, Counterfeiters is a goofily entertaining examination of the price of le rêve américain.

- Time Out

Due to its quick pace and rotating cast of characters, "Counterfeiters" skates dangerously close to feeling frenetic but with tight direction from Krissy Vanderwarker and Jenn BeVard, the show remains cohesive, meaningful and a whole lot of fun.
